All District 9th Grade Nation students, as well as all other students enrolled in the new Civics: Be the Change! Course, visited the Heinz History Center to learn more about the history of Pittsburgh. The guided tours and group work were designed to align with Unit 7, along with pre- and post visit activities related to the curriculum. Each of the high schools was scheduled to visit the Heinz History Center, up to 150 students per day, between March 3, 2008 to April 17, 2008.
